
NEET is a path for those students who are dreaming for becoming a ‘Doctor’. But it is not easy to pass the journey and a journey without struggle is incomplete. We all know day by day the competitors’ number is increasing.
NEET (National Eligibility com Entrance Test), formerly the All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in govt. and private institutions in India. This exam is also for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad. It is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).
5 years ago, more than 11 lakh students attend the exam for 55,000 medical seats in India. Comparatively on 2022, it increases to 18.72 lakhs for 90,675 seats (including govt, private, deemed colleges). There are a total of 180 questions asked in the exam, 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct response fetches 4 marks and each incorrect response gets -1 negative marking. The exam duration is 3 hours 20 minutes. The exam is of 720 marks. The paper consisted of two sections: A and B in all four subjects [Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology]. Section A consisted of 35 compulsory questions and Section B consisted of 15 questions out of which 10 questions were supposed to be filled. NEET (UG) examination is based on NCERT syllabus of class 11 & 12 which consists of the core concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The NEET UG 2022, aspirants started demanding for a delay in 40 days to help them prepare for the exam. The reason behind the call is that the exam dates are clashing, students say, with other major exams. The counselling for the NEET UG 2021 delayed. The students get very less time to prepare for this year’s exam. But at the end of point, nothing changed. The NEET exam dated on 17th July 2022. NEET UG 2022 aspirants gave the exam and many of them have done well in their exam.
