Academic Session of MBBS colleges in Canada :

After completion of the MBBS in Canada (equivalent to MD), international students must appear for the National Assessment Collaboration (NAC) exam to enter the residency program. Graduates are also required to appear for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part 1 and 2. After passing these exams, international graduates from Canadian colleges can practice medicine in this country and get an average annual pay grade of 281,000 CAD. Eligibility for studying MBBS in Canada :

Admissions are based on the past academic scores of applicants. Some basic criteria to be eligible:

      • Candidates must have studied an undergraduate degree in Science or Biology as universities offer admission based on a bachelor’s degree and not on 10+2. Candidates need to have a score of at least 75% to 85% in class 12th.
      • Applicants also need to give the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) for pursuing MBBS in Canada after 12th.
      • Indian students are required to give the NEET exam to study MBBS or medical courses in Canada. Also, candidates need to check the MCAT score requirements by the university where they are seeking to pursue higher studies.
      • The candidate must be 17 years of age by December 31 of the year of admission to MBBS in Canada.
      • IELTS, TOEFL scores are mandatory to prove English language proficiency
